Barbara Jeane Hetherington (Campbell) January 14, 1936 – July 25, 2010
Barbara Jeane Hetherington passed away at Kootenay Lake Hospital surrounded by loved ones on July 25th at 3:20am. Barbara was predeceased by her parents John and Katherine Campbell, brothers Tom and Ron Campbell and husbands William Kent and Brian Hetherington. Barbara will be sadly missed by her children Kathy Reiner and her husband Brian of Nelson BC and Tom Hetherington and his wife Karen of Surrey BC. Her grandchildren Joe Reiner, Shauna Reiner, Danny Reiner, and Krystine Hetherington and great grandson Julian Hetherington. Her siblings Margaret Hamilton and Doug Campbell and his wife Linda. As well as many nieces and nephews. Barbara fought a long courageous battle with cancer. Her family would like to thank the many nurses and doctors who helped care for Barb over the years. As an expression of sympathy family and friend may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society Box 292 Nelson BC, V1L 5P9. A funeral service will be held Saturday July 31, 2010 at 11:00am from the chapel of Thompson Funeral Service Ltd. with Dr. Roslyn Grady as funeral celebrant. Cremation has taken place.
