Bernice Ellen Kuntz (Langill)

September 17, 1933 - July 18, 2015

Bernice Ellen Kuntz was born in Nelson, BC on September 17, 1933. It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother on July 18th, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Mathias James Kuntz in 1993, brothers David and Milton Langill. She is survived by two loving brothers Jack and Terry Langill. Jim and Bernice raised seven children; Gloria (predeceased 1966), Donna, Karen, Debbie, Kevin, Greg and Doug. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as numerous niceces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered for her flowers knitting and great vegetable garden. Always in our thoughts … Always in our hearts.

We would like to thank the professional staff at Kootenay Lake Hospital and Mountain Lake Seniors Community.

At Bernice’s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place.

Relation: friends

We lived next door to the Bernice’s parents for years. Did not know Bernice well as she had already left home but knew her brothers very well. We played together growing up and were very close. We also know Bernice’s daughter Donna through church and work.. Our condolences in this time of sorrow to all the family, especially Donna and her uncles.

From: Shirley Karasz
Relation: Old neighbours

My in-laws, Joseph and Anna Karasz, along with sons Joe and George, built a house in the late 1950’s next door to Bernice and Jim and all their cute kids. They lived in it for 15 years or so, then moved to the coast. We send our condolences to the Kuntz family. Shirley and Joe Karasz.
