Donald Fletcher

March 28, 1931 - February 8, 2022

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, best friend, Papa, and Grandpa after a short battle with cancer.

Don was pre-deceased by his wife Vivian, son David, and grandson Gordon.  Dad leaves Dawn (Bill), Diane (Rod), Dina (Terry), Deborah, and his grand children, and great grand children.

The family would like to thank Dr. Andrea Kirsten, his staff, and the staff at Kootenay Lake Hospital.  We would also like to express our exceptional appreciation for the personal care given to Dad and his girls by Dr. R. Ankerbauer and everyone at the Talarico Place in his last days.

My deepest condolences to all the family. I know how hard this is and only can say that the memories are in your heart.

From: Ward Carlson
Relation: Friend.

My sincerest condolences to the Fletcher family. My father Frank, and my brothers Drew and Brad were great golfing buddies of Fletch and his pal Hock over 40 years. It is with sadness to see your loss. We had a great many times golfing at the Pucksters in Kimberley for over 30 years and then playing at Kokanee Springs up until his passing. I know he loved his kids and his wife very much and often talked of all of you on course and of course at the 19th hole. I loved Donny very much, although I never met the family. We got to fish 4/5 times over the last 4 years and many a BBQ at our house in Kootenay Bay. I know that he is smiling down on all of us. My heart is sad, but I know Fletch is happy knowing he lived a full and happy life, and had a family that loved him. Once again, my sincerest condolences from my family to yours. Ward Carlson
