so sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing, he, Pat and family were dear neighbors and friends. i have very good memories of Happy Times.

From: Linda Taylor for Second Wind
Relation: Friends

On behalf of the Second Wind Music group I want to express our sincere condolences to Gordon’s family. Although Gordon was not a member of Second Wind himself, he may as well have been as he transported Pat and her accordions to all our functions and activities for many many years. We all learned what a kind and loving person he was.
Whenever we were performing at Jubilee, there would be Gordon – helping Pat with her meal and sitting with her during our time there – I know he was there everyday to carry out this loving care.
Gordon received many hugs from our group members on Fri. Feb. 4th, and to hear that he had passed away Feb. 5th was a huge shock!!!
Rest in peace, Gordon, but listen every first Friday of the month for our session at Jubilee. We will be thinking of you.
Yours in love and appreciation, Linda Taylor for Second Wind

Our condolences go out to Pat, and all family members. Pat and Gordon were two people we would meet, always together, whether Pat was playing her accordion or Gordon was visiting Pat at Nelson Jubilee Manor when 2nd Wind sang there.

From: Bronwyn Specht
Relation: Pat is my cousin

I was sad to hear this news. While I have not seen Gordon and Pat for several years, as my close relatives, they have both occupied a corner in my memory – a beautiful lakeside property, the View Street family home and the music; such good memories. My condolences to Pat and family.
Gordon’s passing brings us all a little closer to the inevitable. He is paving the way for the rest of us to follow. But, in the moment, we celebrate a life well lived. We were fortunate to have known him.
