Dear Tom and family! my heart is with you as we say good-bye to a very special person. Hannahli enjoyed the company of many and yet you always felt that you had her undivided attention.
Her laugh was infectious, her caring sincere and her love for family and friends genuine.

From: Susie Noble
Relation: read the announcement in the LFP

I read the announcement of Hanna Dool’s death in the London Free Press and wanted to extend my condolences. What a marvelous day it will be when Hanna is given a resurrection to life on a Paradise earth as Jesus promised (John 5:28, 29). In the meantime, may you and your family find comfort in the memories and times you’ve spent together.

From: George Hayman
Relation: Business cohort of Tom

Dear Tom; Sorry to read of your dear wife’s passing. Trust you were able do build up many good memories before and, of course, since your retirement. I understand that there will be some from your LDCA days present to join with you in your loss. Although you have moved a long way from your London Construction days, you are still remembered for your long service here and the friends you two made along the way. I am fortunate to been able to enjoy a good life with my spouse since retirement, and have, unfortunately attended several funeral visitations since my retirement. Luckily, my contacts with the industry remain through the 2 sons actively keeping it going!

From: Peter Goudy
Relation: Colleague

Dear Tom
I was very saddened to hear about Hannahli’s death. I really enjoyed working with her at Robarts. I was there for only two years but she was a terrific staff person who served her students and her colleagues in such a positive way. She made my transition to Robarts as the principal so pleasureable.
May God grant you the strength to journey on without her. The way she would talk about you made all know how deep her love was for you and her family.
My deepest sympathy, Peter Goudy

From: Mike Coulter
Relation: best man at their wedding

Tom and Family,
I know I haven’t seen you as much as I should have over the years, but I do know how close you and Hannahli have been over the last 50 years or so together. I know she was the love of your life and she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you even if my physical presence is not.

From: David Hersh
Relation: Bridge

Dear Tom and family,

What a sad loss of a wonderful woman. She and I came in first the first time we played bridge together. What a joy it was for both of us. I also remember that delightful hour ride the three of us shared together when you drove me home from the xmas party game in Genelle. You were both an additive to our club. Tom, when you are ready, please come back to us. I can hear her delicious voice as i pen this.
