Harold Willy Epp
July 25, 1928 - July 13, 2011
Tribute
Harold passed away at 82 years old, 12 days short of his 83rd birthday. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; sister, Louise, daughter, Joanne (Frank); sons Ron (Anne) and Darrell (Wanda). His grandchildren are Chris, Hayley, Kristina, Stephen, Corey, Holly and Crystal and one great grandson, Taven.
Harold loved the company of his family and friends and always shared his life’s experiences with a twist of humor. He enjoyed his wood working, coffee with friends, and his many years of work at the RCMP and the Eagles. His true passion was always for hockey.
He was an exceptional husband, dad, grandpa and friend who will be sadly missed.

Goodbye old friend. Death is natures way of telling us to slow down!

From: Alie and Jan Jonker
Relation: friend
Harold was one of my favorite customers when we had the Duhamel store and he always remained a person I would talk to whenever we saw each other in town. I visited him in Mountain Lake a couple of weeks ago. We wish Eileen and the family strength and courage. The memories you have of Harold must be a comfort. He was a great man. Alie and Jan Jonker

From: Randy Koch
Relation: former coworker
I worked with Harold when he was a guard at the RCMP office in Nelson in the mid 90’s. At that time the prisoners were fed frozen dinners by the guards and Harold was responsible for ensuring the freezer was full of supplies. He took that role very serioulsy and often during his inventories, he even counted the jam and peanut butter packages to ensure everything was accounted for.
He was a pleasure to have around and always conducted his duties in a very professional and courteus manner even though the clientele didn’t deserve it at times. He was a very ethical and honest man and he will be missed.

Harold, always remembered as the “oldest” cousin. Always thought of in terms of Harold & Eileen – one did not exist without the other.
My deepest sympathies Eileen and family
