John Malakoff

Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Malakoff of Nelson BC on March 27, 2016 at the age of 58. Left to mourn is his partner Linda MacDermid, daughter Nikki Malakoff, step daughter Kristi MacDermid, brother in law John Minnaert, nephews Don Malakoff and Wolf Malakoff, nieces Juanita Barrie, Selina Malakoff and Crystal Minnaert and numerous great nephew and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents Nellie and Sam Malakoff, uncle Pete Koorbatoff, nephew Kevin Malakoff, brother Sam Malakoff and sisters Olga Malakoff and Anne Minnaert.
John's last and greatest venture was the Nelson A&W's of which he was so proud. He fondly remembered the hundreds of young people who started their working careers at the “Dub”.
John will be loved and missed forever, but not forgotten. In lieu of flowers please donate to KAAP, Nelson, BC. Funeral services will be held on April 9th at 10:00 a.m. in the Appledale Hall just north of Winlaw BC.
