John Olson was a wonderful man and his obituary speaks to respect and love he enjoyed in his life. I taught with John at Central School for several years and remember him to be a hardworking and dedicated teacher, who did lots of extra things around the school. I remember him coming to my office one day, when I had moved to work in the district office. He just came down to tell me how much he appreciated my work and thanked me for it. I can still see him sitting there, probably about 25 years ago. He was the kind of man that thought of others and had those values that will always serve one well. Although I never saw John much in recent years, it was a privilege to have known him. Pat Dooley
