Margaret moved to Grand Forks at an early age and in her youth enjoyed many hobbies such as typing and playing the accordion. She loved music and sang and danced to her 50’s and 60’s music collection.

On July 18, 1991, she was united in marriage to Allan Sandner. He was her “tall, dark handsome prince” and she proudly became Mrs. Sandner. Together, they enjoyed many community events and activities.

In early 2000, Margaret’s health declined and she moved to a care facility in Castlegar, BC. In 2005, she moved to Houston Home in Nelson, BC.
