Her Journey’s Just Begun

Don’t think of her as gone away,

Her journey’s just begun,

Life holds so many facets,

This earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting.

From the sorrows and the tears,

In a place of warmth and comfort,

Where there are no days and years,

Think how she must be wishing,

That we could know today,

How nothing but our sadness,

Can really pass away.

And think of her as living,

In the hearts of those she touched,

For nothing loved is ever lost;

And she was loved so much…

From: Ellen (Denomme) White
Relation: Relationship - How did you know the deceased?

I learned so much from this amazing woman! She loved children and animals, helping people whenever she could, and she was the best cook I’ve ever known.
She was so generous, and I remember that the first “record player” I had in my life was a gift from her.
I loved visiting her as a kid. She always made me feel so special. She taught me how to do dishes and make spaghetti sauce, and how to use common sense and stay calm in a crisis. She was funny, beautiful and so kind.
I will miss her, and I am so grateful to have known her.
