Rose Mary Soberlak (Moffat)

Tribute
Soberlak, Rose (Campbell) nee Moffatt passed away on August 11th 2016 after a long and successful life. She was born in Clive Alberta April 7th 1922 to Alice and Robert (Scottie) Moffatt and lived in Nelson BC. Rose married Lorne Campbell in 1942(deceased 1972) and Kayzak Soberlak in 1975 (deceased 1979). She worked at the Castlegar & District Hospital from 1958 – 1978 as a nurse’s aide. She was very involved with the Phythian Sisters lodge rising through the ranks to become Grand Chief in 1982-83. She is survived by her two children Betty Evans (Larry) and Ron Campbell (Lizzie), 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
We would like to thank Dr. R. Ankenbauer and the staff of Talarico Place in Castlegar for all their kindness and care she received.
There will be no service by request. Arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.thompsonfs.ca
