Tribute
It is with great sadness we announce our beloved Mother and Grandmother Winnie Poznikoff of Nelson passed away on July 7, 2010 at the age of 84 years.Winnie Zaitsoff was born in Champion Lake on September 7, 1925, and married John Poznikoff on May 20, 1958. Winnie leaves behind her sons Edgar (Judy)of Castlegar, Peter (Betty) and Robert of Nelson, daughter Cathy (Mickey) of Castlegar and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Winnie was predeceased by her husband John in 1982.
Winnie loved her garden and her Bingo nights with the ladies. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will especially miss their “Baba Days” on Sunday for pancakes.
