Janet joined our team in 2020, coming to us from northern British Columbia.  She started her service in the funeral profession nearly 20 years ago in Prince George where she spent most of her life.  Excited to now say she is from the Kootenays; Janet is thoroughly enjoying working with families and co-workers from her new community. She and her husband, who is also a colleague, continually say to one another, ‘We live here!’, as they enjoy all that the Kootenays has to offer. Joining the Trail Kinsmen Club is quickly expanding the number of locals she is getting to know and who she considers to be her friends. This team member is immensely proud of her two adult children. Happily, her daughter and son in law are now living in the West Kootenays. Janet’s son is living and working in Alberta. She misses him terribly, but that’s what vacation time is for.
